The people behind the rescue
We have no paid staff and no building. Frankie's Friends is a handful of people with day jobs, a lot of foster homes, and a shared vet bill.
We are a small group of volunteers, a network of foster families, and the veterinary practices who look after our animals. Names and roles are on their way to this page.
In the meantime, write to us — a real person reads every message.
And roughly a dozen foster families
Our foster families are the rescue. They take in a frightened animal, teach them that homes are safe, learn their personality well enough to describe it honestly to adopters, and then hand them over to someone else. It is the hardest and most generous job here.
